The fully leaded stator windings lead to increased motor durability and pop off brushes protect the armature from damage at the end of brush life, resulting in greater motor durability. The motor is abrasion protected for increased durability. The side positioned spindle lock gives greater protection to button when using in confined spaces. A No-volt release switch prevents the unit from starting unintentionally when locked on. The switch must be consciously reset before power is delivered. Soft start reduces movement of the tool on start-up increasing user control.
